What do you mean it's been over a year

Hey there

So... It's been a while huh?

I sorta stopped updating this place after December 2024. I can't (and don't want to) give too much personal information, but the gist of it is that I was in a less-than-ideal housing situation for about 11 months; pretty much until the start of November 2025, when we finally moved again.

2025 was fine in some ways, maybe even good in a couple, but it mostly just sucked and I wouldn't really want to do it again. I feel like most of my projects were frozen for the year and I've st kinda been in a limbo of starting projects and dropping them again.

Work was also really really really stressful between August and November. We got a massive project we were really unprepared for, and I worked around 1.7x my regular hours to just barely manage to finish the project (which the client still hasn't fucking paid us for. yay!). Naturally, this blew my disability the fuck up and I'm still sorta dealing with the fallout ^^;

Stuff's been getting better, though. Hence me managing to make xkcd 2501 gen, update the medialog, hack an argentinian startup (writeup incoming) and, like, write this article to begin with. Things are finally looking up in a way that doesn't feel too real after a full year of stress, housing anxiety and near-constant dissociation :3

I don't really have much to say, really. Tumblr has gotten significantly worse since I last pretended I was gonna be able to write here with any degree of regularity, so I figured I'd drop by as a vague statement of commitment to write more. Deer's still alive, she was just surrounded by headlights for a while.
